This  course explores the contractor’s role in achieving Materials and Resources prerequisites and credits under the LEED v4 rating system.

We will look at the key changes from LEED 2009 to LEED v4 with respect to Materials and Resources prerequisites and credits while identifying the Materials and Resources prerequisites and credits that the contractor is responsible for and/or involved with. We will describe strategies to track and document Materials and Resources credits for LEED application and demonstrate a working knowledge of LEED Online credit forms and uploads. We will explore potential challenges and develop solutions to meet sustainability goals and deliver the project on time, as specified and within budget.
